“Definitely blocked the wind. Usually wear 250 weight merino wool. Left when it was 45 degrees. Legs did not get chilled. Warmed more quickly after the ride. Calves are a bit tight. Got a medium. Usually wear a size 6. Noticed my outer pants kind of stick to the Axial pant when I am first getting on my bike.”

“I bought these as a winter layer & they work great. They're thin so they fit well under my pants & the stirrups help get your pants over them easily without riding up. They're long enough to go down past my boots & that helps block wind where they lace up. Sizing seems accurate if not a tad large. They seem well made but I've only used them a couple weeks so far. Cool to cold they're great under pants alone, but cold to freezing temps I'd definitely add some thermals as well. I got them on sale & feel it was worth it. It's made me order more items in this line to try.”
