Verified buyerPretty but the fit is not designed to be functional.
“Unfortunately the other reviewer's comments about these boots being comically floppy are accurate. I was hoping that reviewer just had dainty calves/ankles. I would say I have average sized calves and ankles, and these boots fit perfectly at my foot/toes, but the ankle had enough room to stuff a rag behind it, making it feel loose and u sturdy. Not sure why these boots are designed that way, without a second mechanism to secure or tighten the ankle. The material itself seemed of good quality, and the look of the shoe is beautiful. Unfortunately just not designed with a good fit at the ankle m”

Verified buyerIll fitting and oddly proportioned.
“I wanted to like these? even after they arrived with the insoles all crumpled up. Perhaps they fit someone, but it's definitely not me. I wear an 8.5/39, which is the size I ordered. The length was right, but they are quite narrow in the forefoot. I might have tried to break them in, but the ankles are comically large and floppy. I mean, enormous. I could fit my entire hand between my ankle and the boot, and put them on/remove them without unzipping. Overall they are oddly proportioned and ill fitting. Sad, 'cause they're a good looking boot.”

“I bought these for my wife and she likes them, even wearing them for casual dress. It's not riding season, so we'll wait to see what she thinks then, but if she wears them out and around it bodes well.”
