“So I rode in these for about a month and was initially really impressed. They were comfortable and looked really good on. The downside is the actual protection they provide in a crash. I went down at around 70 mph because of a brake failure and they did not do much to protect me from the concrete. The knee split open, my lower calf was ripped open, there was a hole in the rear by my butt, and I ended up in the hospital for it all. If you're just cruising around the city they are probably fine but if you go above 60 mph wear something else. Don't rely on these to help you much.”
