Excellent protection and quality !

I wish this was available in 3XL but the spandex-like material of these shorts allows it to stretch waaay beyond it?s advertised size of 2XL if needed. The padding on these shorts is a combination of an injection molded, triangular honeycomb type rubbery plastic supplemented by a rubbery foam. The tail bone (coccyx) area has an even more advanced padding material than the rest of the shorts. It?s much better padding and area of coverage than my O?Neal shorts. I stalled and tipped my bike at a standstill and fell pretty hard on my hip on small rocks. I didn?t feel anything and don?t even hav

Protect yer tail .

I typically wear a large in undergarments so I ordered a large and probably could/should have gone with a medium. other than that these are comfortable with armor in all the correct places .

uncomfortable

1) all the pads should/could be viscoelastic padding. They aren't (as noted in Revzilla's product details). 2) the pad in the crotch feels like three pairs of socks are wedged in there. 3) they seem to be well made with robust material that breathes well 4) sizing is good 5) profile is pretty sleek 6) without the crotch pad, and with viscoelastic padding throughout, these shorts would be worth 20$ more. So close. 7) returned

Pretty good extra padding for long rides!

Pros: ?Great flexible CE level 2 for tail bone. ?Breathable/good for various temperatures. ?Hugs body well and stretchy but would recommend going a size down. ?Crouch/butt padding when riding is great and comfortable for long rides on various bike seats. ?Grippy rubber on waste band and thigh holes to prevent sliding up/down and overall good quality construction. Con's: ?Crouch padding is wide for sitting over a seat so as soon at you start standing/walking it's pretty uncomfortable to me and bunched up. ?Wish the non CE padding on thighs went to inner thigh for if I ever hit the tank it woul

Low profile protection

I wear these every ride. Had to restitch some of it from use but they're still holding strong.
