Troy Lee Designs sizing & how to measure

Measure yourself once, then match it to Troy Lee Designs's chart on any product page. Here is exactly what to measure for each kind of Troy Lee Designs gear.

  • Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground.

  • Arm (Neck to Wrist)

Standing up straight with your arms at your sides, measure from the base of your neck at the center of your spine, along the top of your shoulder and down to your wrist bone, along the outside of the arm.

How Troy Lee Designs fits women, from real riders

What riders praise

  • A genuinely comfortable armored base layer that adds hip and tailbone protection without making your riding pants any tighter
  • The pads stay in place, and it makes hard knee guards worn over the top far more comfortable; several riders are on their second pair

Watch-outs

  • This is impact base-layer protection only: there is no knee armor, despite what some product photos suggest
  • Fit runs slightly small for most, and a touch long at the ankle for shorter riders
