Joe Rocket sizing & how to measure

  • Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.

  • Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, around the top of the hip bones, inline with the navel while keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground.

  • Hips

Measure the circumference, from pelvic bone to pelvic bone, at the widest part of your hips below the waist.

How Joe Rocket fits women, from real riders

What riders praise

  • Accurate sizing for most builds when following the size chart
  • Good fit for average to petite builds
  • Extensive adjustment straps at waist and hips accommodate a wide range of proportions
  • Works well for petite riders with small waists and broader hips
  • Hip fit reads true to size and works well as an overpant layer
  • Adjustable leg closures let you put them on and off without removing riding shoes

Watch-outs

  • Sleeves run slightly long for riders under 5' — may need rolling or hemming
  • Runs small overall — check measurements carefully before ordering
  • Waist sizing is inconsistent within the run, one rider found the labeled large fit like a medium in the waist
  • Inseam reads long for riders under 5'5" and short for riders at 5'10"
  • Tight through the thighs and hips on athletic or curvy builds, while simultaneously gapping at the waist
