Icon sizing & how to measure

Measure yourself once, then match it to Icon's chart on any product page. Here is exactly what to measure for each kind of Icon gear.

  • Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.

  • Arm (Neck to Wrist)

Standing up straight with your arms at your sides, measure from the base of your neck at the center of your spine, along the top of your shoulder and down to your wrist bone, along the outside of the arm.

How Icon fits women, from real riders

What riders praise

  • True to size with comfortable wearable style on and off the bike
  • Genuine leather feel that holds up and feels comfortable from day one
  • Sizing is consistent, most reviewers found the size chart accurate
  • Lightweight enough for warm-weather commuting
  • Wide size range from XS to 2XL
  • Genuinely women's-cut — fits and flatters rather than looking frumpy

Watch-outs

  • Zipper stiff for larger calves — may need assistance to zip up fully
  • Knuckle guard may not sit perfectly on all hand shapes and can become uncomfortable on longer rides
  • Not designed for cold weather, offers no insulation at the wrist
  • Sleeves and armpits run narrow — size up at least one from your usual
  • Elbow armor makes sleeves tight even for average arm sizes
  • Runs small; one rider could not zip the small over her chest, and most rated the fit slightly small, so size up
