“This product is perfect for my use case. I previously used to ride with my armor jacket + Helite vest on top, and a backpack on top of all that. Since I religiously ride my motorcycle with my backpack, the second this became available I immediately purchased it. “Absolutely fantastic product. I've always wanted to wear an airbag, but I often have to wear a backpack while riding so having a jacket, airbag vest, and backpack is a bit bulky and stuffy. You do sacrifice some side/hip protection with this backpack as opposed to the Turtle 2, but it still provides a lot more protection than any normal armor can provide. My only complaint is that the straps will get looser every time you put it on or take it off so you need to adjust it before you ride, but it's not a deal breaker as it only takes a second.”

“If you keep the main pocket empty you can fit an entire 24 rack of beer in it. I couldn't ask for a better product. Most money I've spent on something I hope to not have to use for its intended purpose. Also make sure you register it on Helite's website. I have 1445 days of warranty coverage after registration.”

Great 1st gen product

“I picked this up at another retailer, but wanted to write a brief review here: This backpack isn't simply a backpack with an airbag. This is engineered from the ground up for riders. Built in helmet carrier, rain cover, nice expandable storage. Not heavy at all, at least empty. Reusable design is also nice. This was a pricy purchase but besides my helmet, I think this might help prevent the most internal injury in case of a crash. Other thoughts - this apparently won't deploy if I'm under 17MPH. I wish the tech could still detect a crash if I'm stopped. I'm hoping this improves in future ve”

“Great product. The 3 stars are because I like other backpacks better. Seems like the storage compartments were designed more for looks more than organization and functionality. However, it holds a lot and having the airbag outweighs any quibble I may have with the placement of the different pockets and chambers.”

Great overall with a few drawbacks

“Plenty of room for your stuff. I have luckily not had it deploy yet but it does give me more confidence to be on the roads. No waist protection though, but with the vests that do have more protection you cant carry anything on your person, so this strikes the balance between functionality and safety. A little pricey but if it saves your ribs in a crash it would be well worth the investment. And if it deploys and isn't damaged you can just get another cylinder. Also no subscription to use the bag. I do wish that it got firmware updates tho as the tech gets better but for now there is no way to ”
