“The Castlerock Gray is gorgeous, the red is an elegant deep raspberry, so comfortable. It includes full armor that is very low profile and the fit is nice and trim. I'm usually a large but it runs large and I got a medium. Mesh is light and breezy for summer riding. Love!”

Safety and Style for a Hot Summer

“This jacket is a summer's dream come true. Now there is no reason to ride without protection. It is very effective at keeping you cool and looks great!. Adjustable tabs at waist and forearms slims the profile, reducing drag. I have the lighter color to reflect sunlight and love it. I am shaped like a real women, age 58 with 2 kids (5'6", 155 lbs, wide hips) but the medium zips easily (i.e. it runs big so if in doubt, size down). Thank You!!”

BETTER THEN MESH BODY ARMOUR JACKETS

“Amazing Jacket....I do not agree with the 1 star at all...the fit is great the mesh is abrasion resistant as well as breathable. I have body armour with double mesh that is not as comfortable nor as breathable as this jacket! No need for zippers, it's MESH! With protection...my favorite jacket whether I'm on my Harley or my BMW..much love !”

“LOVE this jacket! The all mesh construction makes it so comfortable in warm weather. Good backside coverage. The collar is comfortable, and the pockets are large enough. Side zip hip gussets are long enough to make a difference for adjusting for a woman?s curves. I have one other Klim touring jacket that?s a little bulkier so I ordered a size large in this style to make sure there was room for the girls, and realize I could probably fit in a medium, but I like a little extra wiggle room, so I?m keeping it. I got the asphalt/high-viz color combo and feel good about the extra pop of bright ”

No Flow Mesh

“Sleeve openings are non adjustable. You can’t open them to get any air flow. Wearing gloves stops all air flow up the sleeves. I would NOT purchase another so called mesh jacket. Zippers along arms would also have helped with airflow. If you live in a state with 90 plus heat and humidity look elsewhere for a summer riding jacket. Come on Klim. Go south to develop a summer mesh jacket, because the Avalon looks good, but it totally fails to perform in real summer riding conditions. A total waste of my money and a huge disappointment! I waited along time to purchase this jacket and now I’m stuck ”

“I love this jacket! It seems heavy and like it would be too warm to wear on a warm summer day but I just took it out for a ride and it's very well ventilated and also very well armored. I feel safe wearing this jacket and it has the little zipper guard on the bottom so the zipper can't rub your tank and scratch it and there are lots of pockets and adjustable straps to make it more fitting. It's amazing. I love it. I really love it. It was a lot of money but I'm very happy I bought it. The quality is amazing. It's going to last me long time so it's worth the investment. And Klim backs their pro”

Ideal for Southern Arizona Adventures

“I considered many other jackets before finally choosing this one. The price was about twice what I originally planned to spend but I'm glad I did. The style is perfect, the fit is spot-on (5'3" 140 lbs), great ventilation, sturdy construction, and it isn't pink. Very comfortable under the arms around the back, so I can wear the Kl?m Luna jacket under it if the ride starts out chilly, and then pack that away when it warms up. Worth the price.”

Lightweight Extremely Comfortable Jacket

“I love this jacket-it's very lightweight so I feel like I don't have a protective jacket on. I'm 5'8", 152 pounds with broad shoulders and I bought the large. It fits me well, I can adjust the waist and the arms are long enough for once. I like the cranberry color as it makes a refreshing change from black. I highly recommend this.”

Great jacket

“Fits great, true to size. I'm 5ft 7in 160 lbs, I bought large, it is a loose fit, I have room for a sweater under if it is a little cooler. I ride my bike in 70s to mid 80s and I was comfortable. Jacket is pretty long and I like all the adjustments at waist, arms and hips. The pads are super light and comfy. I just wish that it had more pockets. Overall good jacket.”
