“I ordered these in US women's size 12, UK 16. I am 5'5", 135 lbs. My waist is 33" and hips are 40". They are far too big for me. The size printed inside the waist band is UK 16, Waist 34, Length 32. The quality seems nice, but I'll return them.”

“I'm not sure what the female standard is in the UK for sizing and for shape. The pants are made for a very tall amazon woman with large hips and thighs. Narrow waist. This is not me. I'm short, 5'5, athletic build, not much of a difference between my waist and hips. I selected to match the waist and alter the rest. So, HIGH WAIST. It's like a 14" rise. Unbelievable. I could probably use it as a back-up bra. I had the hips and the thighs taken in about 4-5 inches and the waist was fine, even though I can put my breasts in it.
