“Look at me, First review. For reference I ride a tenere 700. Helite deserves credit for designing something mostly novel in a field where R&D can't be cheap. However I'm not convinced THIS iteration is the one for me. This backpack has excellent materials and build quality from what I can tell. for about 10K miles I have worn a Kriega R22 pack and mostly use it to hold a water bladder and a cell phone/ some snacks etc. It's a roll bag so it is waterproof and the perfect size for what I need personally. However it's not an airbag. So lets compare to the H-Moov. The H-moov is a one-size fits ”

Adjustable straps are a Helite game changer, usable backpack, leaves the vest only versions in the dust..

“Just buy it. Incognito safety. about the same price as am ambulance ride. Might as well "pre-pay" that bill and hopefully never have to cash it in if the backpack saves ur ass. I tried the turtle 2 vest and teh mesh jacket in various sizes and none of them felt "right". And the placement of the canister was digging in your chest in all of them. Splurged a bit more on this and absolutely love it. I was planning to always use a backpack even if I got the vest so this does it all and you can even take the backpack part off and use it as a vest.. Sits very well, looks very nice, quality is top not”

“I have two other helite airbags, but was always unsure about wearing a backpack over them. This solved that problem and then some, with all the features it offers. Had it go off when I dropped my bike in a parking lot. I was more excited about how well the airbag worked then worried about the bike I just dropped (dr650 so meh). It was fully inflated before I realized it went off. It felt like a snug but comfortable hug from my tail bone to my neck. Super easy to deflate, button back up and get on with your life. If you're considering picking one up, just do it. Worth every nickel.”

“As someone who consistently utilizes a backpack (motorcycles being my preferred method of daily transport) this gives me the best of both worlds. While it's a bit heavy (as was my helite custom and my klim) this feels nicely balanced, the weight is evenly distributed and the straps are incredibly comfortable. I don't see myself getting any more fatigued than just carrying a regular bag and I can see this remaining nice and cool in the summer where my other airbag vests get a bit hot and restrictive. I also don't have to worry about my airbag functionality being impeded by wearing a bag over it”
