“These are the most attractive jeans I've tried on, though I've "only" tried about 20 different jeans from several different brands. These are more suited for curvier women, or women who have a bit of a booty. The pants look like they would be a high waist style, but I think they're closer to a in between regular and high waist. They are more true to size than a lot of other jeans, even with the armor. I replaced the D3O with CE2 axial armor and it fits perfectly. “I like these. No complaints about the knee pads here. I tried them both fabric in and outward, fabric inward is much more comfortable, allows for a lot more flex. I'm between two sizes, and the smaller was just too tight. Sized up, and they're a bit loose in the waist, but a bit tight in the knees and calves, especially on a sportbike. I find myself tugging them up to loosen the knees. Maybe they'll break in. Might play with the pad positioning. There are three velcro strips to shorten the knee armor pocket, so four positions. Feels like rubber pucks stuck to your knees....

“Of the three Merlin jeans I just bought (all of which I'm returning), these were the closest to fitting me. BUT....the interior fabric pockets the kneepads sit in are too thin because you immediately feel like your knees are actually sticking to rubber pucks on the inside. It's such a yucky feeling...didn't anyone test these out? My knees felt stuck, such that I just can't bear to have the pants on. My daughter tried them on and immediately said, "Ewwwww......that feels so gross!" I have never had any armor feel like that, so back these jeans go. They also have weird extra fabric at the hips t”
