Good boot, love the heel lift, sizing is inaccurate

“Overall I really like this boot. I'm a new rider with legs on the shorter side (I'm 5'5" tall with a 29" inseam) so didn't quite feel confident when riding in my previous boots on my lowered Versys X-300. Compared to the Alpinestars Stella Kerry WP boots I was riding in previously, these give me a lot more foot contact thanks to the internal heel lift and the soles themselves feel a bit "stickier" and give me better traction. Love these boots, saved my feet!

“These are my 2nd pair of TSX womens boots. I replaced the first pair because I fell over and my peg landed on my ankle, crushing the boot a little but saving my foot. If it weren't for the boots, I would have been seriously hurt. I love these because of the extra height (which has kept me from falling over again, yay!) I normally wear size 8.5 shoes, but the size 40 fits great.”

“I bought these boots for my wife for a trip we were making. We experienced everything from 95 degree heat to intense thunderstorms and even two snow storms over higher passes and her feet stayed perfectly dry and comfortable until the temps got real low for an extended period of time. They performed exactly how a good GORE-TEX boot should. She loves the lift in the heal also. They do run narrow, though. I bought a 38 and 39 for her to try both. The 38's were perfect in length but too narrow in width. The 39's fit perfectly in width, but were slightly too long. She chose to stay with the 39's ”

“Excellent boots. Just received my pair and they are (1) true to size; I am normally 7.5, leaning toward 8; size 38 fits perfectly (snug but comfortable); (2) felt very breathable riding in Texas 95F heat, and (3) did extremely well in 25mins of heavy rain (got caught in a thunderstorm); my feet were the only part of me that stayed dry. Highly recommend! The extra inch of height is very welcomed also. I will be taking them on my ride from Austin TX to San Francisco CA, to bring home my new bike.”

“I wanted so badly to give these five stars since I'm on my third pair of dual purpose motorcycle boots. These boots fit perfect feet, I broke my right ankle 4 months ago so is slightly swollen. As a result the top of the boot 'leaned' and rubbed on the front of my right leg. It's at the point now that I have to wear compression socks to stop the rubbing. Oh, it was hot the weekend I used them for the first time, they' don't breathe so are hot. I'm still trying them out and am undecided whether to take them to Africa, since I bought them for the ankle flexibility I didn't have with the Alpinest”

LOVE these boots

“Bought these and the Alpinestars Stella SMX-6. Def preferred these. Super comfy right out of the box. Have walked in them with no difficulties. I don't find the inner heel does much for me (simply cuz I'm so short that I balance on my toes anyway). They felt too snug in the calf area, but have loosened/stretched very quickly.”

“After riding for years I finally caved and bought a pair of TCX boots with a heel so that I could have a better reach on my new Street Triple RS. They fit great and are comfortable. They have a narrow heel so I don't have any heel slippage when walking. They have great grip on the soles as well, I never worry about my feet slipping on pavement. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.”

“Boots are great I wear year round. I have small calves so if I wanted to tuck jeans inside boot I could but I don't. Boot is rigid so not going to be able to adjust much. I hope this helps.”

“I love these shoes. I am new rider (~2 months) and needed to get motorcycle shoes since my timbs were getting marks on them from the shifter. Bought this online and tried it in the store and wow! These are super comfortable, secure, and they look great. I can wear it with literally anything which is great cuz I don't have to carry an extra pair of shoes everywhere. And they have a small heel which gives you a little bit of height. It has the armor for protection, it's water resistant, great for all seasons (I've only used it in late summer and fall for me so far but they should last all season”

After 500 miles of riding - I really like these boots

“I am a female rider and wear 8.5 women's Altra hiking shoe, 8.5 Brooks Ghost ,and 8 wide Brooks Adrenaline. The sized 40 fit perfectly. I got them for riding my naked bike with my riding jeans. My feet don't get too hot in the PNW summers or too cold during the shoulder season. I have not ridden in the rain, so I am not sure if my feet would get wet or not. They are comfortable enough for walking around town during lunch breaks. I can feel the brake and clutch pedals well and feel like they offer decent but not great ankle protection. These would not help much to prevent an ankle from twistin”

Great for road. SO nice and cool. But be careful with gravel.

“I've been riding in these for 6 months and absolutely love them. They look cool, they're super comfortable, and they're quick to don and doff. The only two things that would improve these for me: 1. grippier soles. They're good good on pavement, but I have issues if I'm in a parking lot or on a shoulder. I ride an adventure bike that barely allows me to two-foot it (half of the balls of my feet with a lowered Aprilia Tuareg). My feet can slip when trying to back up the bike, which leads me to the other issue I have with them 2. higher shin guards would be nice. Even if these were 1-2" taller i”

Excellent touring boot!

“I bought these boots to replace my original Oxtars (before company became TCX), that I purchased over 10 years ago. I love the fit and how comfortable the Oxtars are, and have not been disappointed with the TCX Tourer. I have worn them on touring trips, and most recently in hours of rain. Great protection and definitely waterproof!”
