“I took a risk and bought a size down as suggested in the video I have the same fit dimensions of the girl featured there. The accordion stretch allows for sizing down, but I live in San Diego and I dont have to wear thick layers underneath the leathers most of the year. If you live in a place that gets colder, I would stay with your size according to the size chart because you will need the extra room for layering. My size according to Belstaff is 42 (Im 55 about 127lbs, measurements 34/28/37) , but I got a 40 in this jacket. In another Belstaff jacket made of waxed cotton, I fit into a”

Great Jacket but cut for a EU model
“This is a great jacket! Problem is the arms are cut for a EU stick model with no muscle tone in the arms. My wife is 5'4" fit 120lbs, works out but is not a body builder. The size 40 jacket fit perfectly except the shoulders and biceps which were unbearably tight. The size 42 was not much better and the arm length was about 2" too long. She loved the jacket but not the arm fit, It's too bad we had to send them back.”
