Great for Big Calf Girlies

“I have large calves (40-42 cm at top of boot) and was worried these wouldn't fit. The straps are adjustable up to a point, but the straps for the calves have several extra inches of give to them. I wear a US 8.5 Women's shoe, so I ordered the 9 and they fit wonderfully. I've historically had wide feet, and have no issues fitting in this boot. I've got wiggle room at the toe, but not so much that the boot doesn't fit. There's not much ankle movement, it's very stiff, but I expect a *small* amount of wiggle room as I break them in. Great Beginner / Light ADV Boots

“These boots are durable and have lasted through a roundtrip Seattle to Vegas on road, dirt trail riding around Vegas, dirt trail riding around Seattle, and 2 injury-inducing accidents. They are very durable and I would be comfortable to continue wearing them except that they don't offer nearly as much protection as mens boots and don't offer nearly as many features as, for example, the Tech 7. They do run a bit big as well, I normally wear a size 7 and this size 7 was about a half size too big.”

Bad hot spot

“These are both protective and flexible. The dealbreaker is a terrible hot spot above the top of the foot. There is a transition zone from armored in shin to flexible material in the foot; some kind of seam or joint in a terrible location. It feels really bad on top of my foot when flexing, so I will return them.”
