“description is wrong. leg zippers do not go all the way to the hip?they go to the lower/mid thigh. pocket openings weren't big enough to fit hands in easily. good quality and decent style.”

“I have not road tested these yet, but they seem like they will be very good and are constructed well, fabric is quite thick. I think they will be best for cooler temps. They have 4 vents. Three things I wish were different are 1) pockets are small, wish they were larger. 2) legs are long, wish they were a little shorter, 3) Velcro straps that can be used to synch legs are long, wish they were shorter so straps won't flap around. Overall I think they will be very protective and sturdy for touring and I will keep them. I think FirstGear fit is on par or may be a little larger on the larger side.”
