Being a woman
“As I rode, the large pad in the crotchal region slowly began to swallow my "rolling stones". At the end of an hour long ride I was concerned to find out that I had become a woman with a large padded "chamois" between my legs and no male genitalia left to be spoken for. Apart from the huge awkward pad between the legs, the breathability was great, the outer pads covered much of my (now shapely) thighs, and they seem like something that will withstand some abuse.”

Perfect
“Well made. Not to long so as not to interfere with braces. Padding in right places. *** wear a 34 more often a 36 *** had to exchange for XL.”

comfortable but would have love better armor
“i just received this product, and all i can say is that the shorts are very comfortable. My only concern is that there is really no protection. There is a thin layer of foam to protect your legs in the event of a fall. I wish the armor was a little better, but the main reason to buy this is for the gel chamois its really good. My seat is hard and this will help me a lot in longer trips”

At last comfort and protection added to regular pants
“I just got them today so they still fit snug. I have looked for better protection under any regular pants I chose. Local area trip gear, just work, local mall, town chores Looked at all the options, purpose made jeans, riding pants, full suits, etc. for the short stuff, mostly in summer. These have larger pads than most riding pants, and a great crotch and butt protector too. Beats riding pants and at a reasonable price. larger pads for the areas protected. The bike seat just got more comfy, no noticeable heat problems, and I felt more secure, without the cost of full suits, or net webbi”

Verified buyerBest padded shorts I have found
“I was looking for a good padded short for riding large adventure bikes. I wanted something that would increase my ability to ride long distance on pavement and work well off road. I have tried several types and most were more expensive. These worked better than any others I have tired and I have two sets. I was able to go lo longer distances on road without a break and they were comfortable and protective off road. The central padding is at first bulky but quickly broke in. I like the added protection of the hip pads and the tailbone pad. I usually wear riding pants and they fit well under the”

Verified buyerSort of a weird fit and I'm concerned about long-term durability.
“First, these things run small. Like really small. I normally get by with a Medium or Large in shorts and I had to return a L and even the XLs are sort of small and uncomfortable on me. They are a strange cut but I found they were not constantly falling down if I pulled the bottom of the legs well up my leg to let the elastic grab up high. I'm a bit concerned about the long-term durability due to the elastic trick from above and because the stitching seems to be quite small around the waist band and on the mesh pockets which hold the padding.”

Bought for Mountain Biking, but started wearing them for snowbike as well.
“These are bicycle liner shorts at their core. The seat pad is designed for bicycle seats like all other chamois liner shorts. I purchased these for Mountain Biking and they are great. Worth the awkward fit/padding on the drive to and from the trail. The crotch padding is thicker and larger than my previous couple pairs of bicycle liners and work great. So good that I started wearing them on my snowbike (yamaha motocross based snowbike) in the winter time. They work great for that, too. So I imagine they would be good for summer dirtbiking as well for most of the stock dirtbikes nowadays (with ”

Verified buyerSlightly thinner armor than the Forcefield pants
“They fit very well. The armor is slightly thinner than my Forcefield armor pants, which makes these great under jeans or other "civilian" pants. They have that slightly "sticky stuff" on the edge of the legs and waist, so they stay in place very well.”

Verified buyerGood stuff
“Comfortable. About 300 miles wearing them so far. I am 5'8" and 190. I ski hard and bike/hike/hunt hard. So I have large thighs. The XL is fine on my thighs. Most likely, if you are a large then order a large.”

Verified buyerNice but under sizedi
“Quality seems good but sizing is way small. I ordered MED bc my pant size is 32?. Way too small. Exchanged for LG and still to small! Third try was a charm. I got XLG. I?ve never worn anything XL. Go 2 sizes bigger than you usually wear.”

Verified buyerNot good
“They don't fit. I'm a 36-38 waist and ordered a XL pair of shorts and I can barely squeeze into them. Sorry, but XL should fit, just like my XL Tshirts fit”
