Verified buyerWaist is way out of proportion to the rest
“The hips, thighs, butt, length, everything fit great. However, apparently your waist needs to be absolutely tiny in comparison for them to button. These pants are way out of proportion. I am 5'9", 160 lbs with sporty physique and usually wear a size 8 in US. I ordered the large. No way they would button. Since everything else fit so perfectly I kept thinking I was missing a strap to loosen. Nope. I returned the pants.”

Verified buyerLove them!
“I do really like these pants, they come with an inner water proof pants inside that are removable, which is nice in warmer weather. I did size up to an XL- that way I can wear other pants underneath and can take off my gear before work. They come with pockets, similar to cargo pants. They are a little bit long, but has adjustable straps around the waist and below the knee that helps adjust the pants and keep the knee pads where they need to be.”

Verified buyerPretty Good I guess
“Sizing chart was accurate. The waist is considerably more tailored for a woman's narrow waist. It's too bad the knee-pad inserts are sold separately. While the quality is very good, to our eye, it's not THAT much better than some of the more affordable brand's we've tried like Cedici. The Alpine Star logo looks like it is pressed or ironed on, rather than stitched. Time will tell how well it holds up. Very comfy on long rides in tropical weather, if you remove the drystar lining.”

“Pants fit great, definitely look at the size chart. They do however run a little long in my opinion.”

Verified buyerKnee Armor Starts Too Low
“Definitely size up in these compared to what you normally wear. I'm a large in most things, sometimes a medium but I needed an XL in these. The knee armor starts half way down my knee cap. I don't know if that will annoy me too much or not but I don't really like it.”
