AX2 Back Protector Does NOT fit, despite what the description says.

“AX2 Back Protector Does NOT fit, despite what the description says. I purchased the AXIAL AX2 Back Protector for this jacket, since it doesn't come a back protector, only to find out that the pocket for the back protector is clearly shaped for the smaller rounded AXIAL AX1 Back Protector and not the more square AX2.”

Summer jacket

“Fit great and felt great while riding. It does seem like it will be great for hot days which is one of the main reasons I purchased. I have only ridden with it a couple of times but so far I am loving it.”

Nice light jacket.

“Great light jacket. I wear this in the summer, without the liner. With the liner you could get away with a crisp day, but this is not a winter jacket. I was hit head-on by a drunk driver while wearing this jacket, and it did its job. Still works, still wear it when I'm able to ride.”

“Great jacket! Super comfortable. I love that it has a liner for the colder months that is able to be removed and that the jacket is mesh for the warmer months. As a curvy women (bit of a belly and DDs), gear is hard to find but this fits comfortably and makes me feel confident. Glad I found this steal of a jacket! The only thing I will say is that I did have to go one size higher than expected, I was expecting to be an XL but I got a 2XL for the comfort. I'm glad my nearby cyclegear had this in store for me to try on first. I would recommend going up 1 size than expected or just trying it on f”

Great jacket

“We bought this for my wife and it fits great. The Hi Viz accents really stand out. The sleeves have zippers at the cuff which make installing and removing the liner very easy. The Velcro straps at the waist and the zippers at the hip are nice touches to dial in the fit. The only issue was that the size MD Axial AX2 back armor was too large to fit properly. I used the foam insert as a template and trimmed the armor to fit. As for performance, I hope we never need to find out how it works.”

“I usually wear a large but sized up to an xl for comfort. It was a good decision as it's very comfortable . I really like my new jacket. I got it in white and I like the way it looks with my white helmet! I feel protected but also pretty!”

“I purchased this jacket because it comes in xs and fit my target budget for a first jacket. For reference, I'm 5', about 105#, athletic build, and ride in CO. What I like: overall weight of the jacket, placement and size of elbow & shoulder armor, color for visibility and heat deflection (mine is white), ability to adjust arm and waist fit, there are a few small pockets. What I'd improve: would like to be able to wear the liner independently when off bike, reconfiguration of the back armor pocket so small riders have more options when purchasing that piece, a slightly longer back, less velcro”

“Super comfortable with great features. Love how it can be worn with or without the liner. The inside pocket is huge and the zip vents on the sides make it super comfortable of you're short waisted. Only thing thay bothers me is that sometimes the too of the”

It works

“I am 5?4, 107 pounds. The small is a bit big, but I like the option of having room to layer up for the colder days ahead. Definitely more bulky than my other jacket but I feel like it?s a safe fit. The sizing changes don?t go small enough for me so it looks a little baggy. Otherwise I like how the zipper won?t rub on my tank, big no no.”

“LOVE this jacket. I'm 5'3" and 145, 34 DD and a small is nice and snug. Built with great quality, especially for the price point!! I tried on a few others that were more expensive and they were just not built well and not made to fit women, even though they were made for women. This jacket so doesn't have arms that are too long. Also very figure flattering. You can't go wrong!”

“I really like this jacket! It fits me very well, even as a plus-sized woman. I typically wear a 1X in tops. Got the xxl and it fits great! It's comfortable, stylish, and I like that it has protective padding as well as a removable quilted liner. If I were to change anything, I'd go for larger pockets. But overall, I love it and it's a piece of gear I look forward to wearing each time I ride.”
