Cute platform, lacking substance

“I typically wear a US size 9.5 Womens shoe, and and purchased this shoe in a US size 9 (which also lists EURO size 41 on the box). It fit slightly on the large size, enough extra room to wear thick socks. It is a cute shoe and like the subtle platform to help get more of your foot touching the ground from sitting height. The limited amount of ankle protection is disappointing - it basically consists of a small half dollar sized plastic disc that covers each ankle. I was expecting a bit more ankle protection for the money - there's certainly room in the shoe.”

Size down!!

“Love these! Just the style I was wanting with good ankle protection. They feel very sturdy. I'm normal a size 9 in women's and had to get a 7.5 in these. They fit perfect!”

Great shoes, comfy

“I had to order a full size down BUT I am obsessed! They're super lightweight, have great ankle support/protection and the first day I was able to walk in them for 12+ hours and never felt uncomfortable! I have worn them on every ride and have gotten so many compliments! (even from dealership staff!) I also love the side zipper, easy on & off!”

Cute but not enough support

“For whatever reason these shoes are not made with the same support as the men's version. It's only a small round plastic disc that covers the ankle bone & then elastic around the rest of the ankle. Unfortunate because they're cute but I'm not willing to sacrifice protection/support for cute. I used the size chart & got 5.5 for equivalent US7 but they were still way too big.”

SIZE DOWN

“I just got these and I'm glad I listened to the reviews. I wear a women's US 9 and went two sizes down to a US 7. I AM GLAD I DID!!! The size chart for these shoes is definitely off. It feels as if they narrowed the men's show and just stated they're women's. Go at least two sizes down or figure out your men's shoe size and go to that. Outside of that, I typically have a wide foot and these are very comfortable just walking around. Also having the extra height will help me get closer to footing my bike. I haven't tried riding yet so I'll keep you update.”

Big

“RUNS BIG. I'm a size 11. I bought a size 11. It's way too big to even be fixed with thick socks and inserts. Shoe is cool but the pink stripe seems weird. Has potential to give blisters even when the right size just because it's so rough on the heels and right at the top on the seam. I'm returning them for a different shoe but they seem very protective for the amount of money.”

Big size, poor quality.

“Saw these and got so excited. I waited and finally got them today, only to discover that they are massively large. The lettering was not printed right either. Huge disappointment for the amount of money that is required to buy these type of shoes. It's bad enough that women's motorcycle gear is so low in selection?.”

perfecttt, inlove with these shoes

“The quality is really nice, the little details make the shoes so worth it design wise, the sizing i chose was 7.5 but i am usually an 8-8.5 depending on the brand of shoes. I wear an 8 in my platform converse so I only sized half down for these alpinestars. They're very comfortable, no issues with putting them on, tying, or standing/walking. obviously we all have different experiences but i think mine was exactly what i wanted !!”

Love the normal shoe look but size down!

“It is large, I ordered a size 6, I normally wear 7 womens. It is still a bit loose but manageable, maybe would still work if I put 5.5 or something.”

They will rip and Astars doesn't care

“I loved these riding sneakers, for about 3 months. After 2.5-3 months of regular wear in normal riding conditions, I got a massive hole on the toe of the left shoe where my shifter rubbed. There is NO reinforcement whatsoever on these. I contacted Astars for warranty and they said it wasn't covered under 'user worn damage'. I ended up purchasing a new pair of leather Dainese riding sneakers that are holding up much better. They were ridiculously comfortable and super cute too, but I won't be riding in them ever again.”
