pretty sweet riding shirt so far!

“i thought i'd try to give this item a more fair review... :P this is my first "riding shirt" so wasn't sure what to expect here. overall its more like a padded/quilted flannel shirt, than like a regular hiking flannel. it has thin flannel material on the outside, layers of kevlar fabric inside, then satiny quilted material for the liner. it wears like a thick quilted flannel. garment length is good. i have a long torso, this has me covered. the butt flap extenders are kinda weird, but i guess that's helpful if you've got very large hips as there is not much stretch to the shirt. i love lov”

Lots of pockets, light weight shirt/jacket

“I'm a size 8 shirts and size 8 or 10 in pants. Medium fit well except at the bottom across my hips, but its not so bad for me to go through the hassle of a return (I've not returned anything to RevZilla, I just dont like waiting). I can easily wear a baggy sweatshirt under this jacket and in the photo I've got armor in (shoulder, elbow, back). There are plenty of pockets, all of them have zippers except one large inside pocket that has velcro closure. This is a light jacket, I'm hoping light enough to use in the hot weather, but so far I've only used in up to 75 degree weather.”

Size up, but comfy

“I'm normally a medium but like my clothes looser, and I wish I had gotten an XL in this tbh (I got a Large). I'm very hourglass, so the shoulders and hips feel tight, and I'm grateful for the divets on the bottom to expand for hips for sure. but not sure how I'll fit any padding up above”

Why all the negativity?

“Honestly I don't understand all the bad reviews or confusion with sizing. I usually wear a small or medium, I ordered a small and it fits just fine. I can even fit a hoodie underneath. I'm 5' 2" and about 125lb for reference. I lovee all the pockets! There's one large one on the inside and the 2 on the outside comfortably fit and zip up with no problems with my iPhone in them. Yes it's boxy. It's a flannel, it fits like a flannel. I wouldn't want a form fitting jacket for riding, that doesn't sound comfortable at all.. ONLY "BAD" thing about the jacket, it does not come with armor. I ordered u”
