Best investment in a long time

“I ordered a M and got shipped an XL. I needed it for the weekend so I wore the XL. (I am 5'6 144#. 76yo) It fit fine and I unintentionally tried it out. Bad riding decision on my part sent me over a 8' bank into a creek bottom. The old flying W put me on the ground and my bike ran me over. I felt more clumsily than usual getting up then realized the bag had deployed. By the time I got the bike up the bag had uninflated and I finished the race - an AHRMA CC race- I LOVE this thing ! A trip to the ER starts at $5600- if you bring yourself in- This $720 vest saved me that trip and expense. I just”

It works!

“It works! Repacking the airbag after deployment is simple. The tech air app walks you through the entire process allows you to set custom riding modes. MX mode is it a little too sensitive it will deployed from washing out on the top of a berm. Some riders may like that, since the fall was further than a normal tip over. MX race mode is best for track riding.”

Good but expensive

“The vest is well constructed and lightweight. It doesn't seem too hot but I haven't ridden in weather above 80 yet. The instructions and videos by the company are so-so. Mostly because they lack close up shots or explanations EXACTLY where the important issues are! The vest activated too easily my first ride set to enduro mode. I set it to MX Race mode after talking to a tech - and it activated again on a so- so crash - but I suppose it did its job correctly. The first one was just mostly a tip over fall in enduro mode. I've since had a few more rides with no crashes and no activation. F”
