Buyer Beware: The first pair I got broke in nicely and I really loved them! I'm 7 1/2 inches across the palm and Revzilla's video warned me to size up so I got a large and was very happy with the fit. Less than a month of wearing them however left me with a popped seam on the outside of the thumb where the stretch material meets the leather. Turns out Alpinestars warranty means paying the shipping to send them back to California for a one time repair or replace. Personally I find that a bit unfair but for the price I paid I was willing to eat another $10. A few weeks go by and they end up ship

Improper Manufacturing

The glove fit well and seemed to be high quality but the ring finger on the right glove had a plastic piece sticking out on the inside of the joint. So every time i would make a fist it would dig into my finger. I had to return it and I still had a red mark from it digging into my finger from the day before. I liked the fit overall but the quality was terrible.

I really like these, despite the break in period being hell-- possibly related to sizing. My hand measured exactly 7.5 inches, so I was faced with the option of sizing up or down. I had purchased the bigger size for my previous pair (not alpinestars) of gloves, and during the break in period they had stretched to the point that they were too big and sloppy to be comfortable riding in. So I bought the small of these, knowing that they would probably be tight until I got them stretched out. Once I did though, they were perfectly comfortable. The fingers are probably what you would consider short

Great Crash Protection, Perfect for XS Hands

I wore these almost daily for two years before taking a slide at around 45 mph. The palm sliders got a little worn down, and there are some chips off of the knuckle armor. Otherwise, there were no split seams or holes, and I have no bruises or scrapes. I just ordered another pair to replace them, and I will probably continue to reorder these for as long as they're in production. I got the XS and they do run a little small compared to other brands, but it's perfect for me because the XS in most brands is still too large for me.

where protection meets style

i love this glove because it hits all the protection areas i need. hard plastic knuckles, extra leather protection pads for thumb and fingers, leather wrap for wrist bone protection, and a hard plastic palm slide (srsly what's up with all these soft grippy palm slides lately... isn't that worse than nothing!?). also the thumb and index finger touch screen capability is great (esp the index finger, its accurate enough to swipe type). as i've seen in other comments, fitment can be an issue. i got a pair for my partner, and it just didn't work out for him. i did have a little discomfort in one f

Great all around glove

These gloves are great for riding in the spring, summer, and fall. It may also be alright for winter riding if you're not going very far, or if you're riding during the mid day when it is not so cold. The gloves are perforated and thus have a lot of good air flow. Great protection features. In addition to the reinforced knuckles, there is a bridge between the 4th and 5th digits on both gloves. There is impact protection with extra material on both wrist bones (pisiform), and extra padding for crash/slide protection on the entire pinky sides. The palms have a grippy leather material, and

Very pretty and comfy

They look SO good and fit true to size. They're comfortable and flexible. Only downfall is I got the ones with a little bit of pink and the pink is more of a purpley-pink in person than shown online, which is disappointing but they're still pretty!

comfortable but bad quality control

I split a seam on the index within a couple rides. Thankfully it was covered under warranty and I have not had issues with the new pair. The new pair also has a crooked seam that sometimes digs into my nail. Aside from those issues, they are very comfortable and not bulky at all. Perfect for commuting and city driving.

Awesome Gloves!

My wife loves these! Very comfortable. Hard to find gear for her that isn't solid black or hot pink so the teal is a bonus. She's never been happier with a pair of riding gloves.

Nice Gloves

These are great all-around gloves, and you get great protective features for the price. I've used them in the summer and fall, and they're well-ventilated to keep you cool. My problem with them stems from their performance while riding. After about 15 minutes or so, they've started riding up on my hand (specifically my throttle hand) and aside from the obvious discomfort, this becomes a safety issue when I'm having to constantly try to push my glove back down while riding without being able to use both hands. I don't know what can be done to fix this, but it's something to consider.
