The most comfortable boots I ever have!

“I was bit worried about the size or tightness due to protection- these boots feels so good and super comfy, no tight areas and the shoe size fits exactly (8.5 in Women?s) the style looks more like a sneaker but feels like a boot which I love the most about it- I am stoked that I made this purchase, it was definitely worth the price!!!”

Ugly and uncomfortable

“I normally wear a 38 but I definitely had to size up as soon as I put them on. I also had the numb toe problem even after sizing up. Despite being leather, these did not break in at all. Boot height is also awkward for pants and offers no ankle support.”

Cute, but too stiff to be comfortable

“I was able to try on the vented Stellas in person, and had to go up a size, so I'm glad I had that option. They were initially quite stiff, but I thought they were supposed to be that way for protection - and maybe they are. I hoped they might break in and become more comfortable after a while. Unfortunately, after almost a year, they are still hard and plasticky and uncomfortable. I've tried them with different socks and adjusting them differently, but neither helped. “These are my first pair of riding boots I ever had. I love alpine everything. I was told by many people that riding boots are uncomfortable but I dont think so. These boots are comfortable and I wear them on every ride now. I walk around in them afterwards when I'm at a bike meet or something, and they feel fine! Didn't take me long to get used to the feeling of them either, even with my first time wearing them on a ride, they felt fine. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I did get blisters on my ankles from not wearing high socks with them. I prefer the higher boots and I will be”

Makes my feet go numb

“The shoes look nice, but are not ideal for wearing with skinny or fitted jeans unless you wear high socks. They are true to size but awkwardly tight inside under the shifter pad. The stitching presses on the top of my foot and makes my feet go numb while riding a sport bike. I will be exchanging for Dainese racing boots.”

“It's very interesting that many say these run narrow or are not comfy. I have wider feet and high arches and these fit perfectly! I am so happy with these! Only tweak is the ankle area is a bit stiff and runs but that's what higher socks and breaking them in are for!”

“Boots are nice just stiff which is how they're supposed to be until broken-in, the stitching of the boot presses into your foot making a numb feeling.”

“I really love the style and safety of these boots, however they make my feet go totally numb within minutes. I got a size 8 (my usual size) and the length was great, but the width was VERY narrow. I'm sad I have to return them. Wish they'd magically work for me. Love Alpinestars.”

“The only reason these get 4 stars and not 5 is that the boots really irritated me by the top rubbing my skin while I was breaking them in. I did use longer socks and it still was pretty gnarly. Other than that they've worked perfectly and still look good.”

Ugly toe pad

“The online photo does not show how thick the side toe pad is on outer side of both boots. Hated them when I saw them in person. Would have been ok otherwise but that toe pad is hideous”
