“Overall these shoes are great! I wear an eight in tennis shoes so that is what I ordered. Ends up I needed a size seven.”

Comfy but runs way big.

“Sizing is insane. I wear a us size 8 and with these I got a us size 6 (37.5 euro)?.. I have skinny feet and high arches so if you have wider feet it may not work like that for you. They are comfy! I can shift well and the traction is great and oh my are they ventilated! My future summer feet are gonna love me!”

Great so far

“These shoes are very comfortable. In terms of sizing, I saw a lot of contradictory reviews on here, so I went in person to try them on. I am a women's size 8 in basically every shoe I wear, and my European shoes are always a 38 - the 6.5/38 for the alpinestars was a perfect fit for me! Snug enough for my foot to not move around, but not touching in the toe area. I'd recommend sticking to the European sizing for a nice fit: 38 for US women's 8, 39 for a women's 9, etc.”

Not true to size, but nice riding shoes

“Overall very nice riding shoes. I don't really care for the drop down on the back of the shoe, I wish it was the same height as the sides. I also think the laces could be a little thicker. The website says true to size so I ordered my normal size. I wear a US 10.5 but they were too big on my feet even with heavy socks. I did order a size 10 and I am waiting on them to arrive. I will give an update once I get the other pair.”

“Disappointed, 2nd order for boots runs too big. Giving up on finding correct ladies fit here.”

“I'm a size US 8 consistently and I saw a reviewer say she bought the 6.5 as a size 8 and Im glad I listened because the 6.5 fits perfect! I like that these shoes dont have a super chunky toe like a lot of riding boots have. You do need long socks with these because there is a part on the inside that rubs up against your ankle area that gets itchy. Besides that I love these!”

Comfy af

“These are insanely comfortable. I'll wear them for a 9-10 hour shift and my feet won't hurt at all. I also love the velcro strap to keep the laces tucked, and they get great airflow when I'm riding in the summer. Also, obsessed with the pink.”

Great with some major caveats

“I really like these shoes. The material is SO BREATHABLE! I have the alpine stars waterproof high tops and I love those too but they're super duper hot and make my feet very sweaty. The bad thing about these shoes is 1) the sizing is way off. It almost feels like they're men's sizes. I wear a 9.5 in women's and had to go down a full size for both my alpine star shoes. 2) the tongue on these is sewn with an exposed raw edge on the sides of the tongue and it's very sharp and irritating. I tried them on and the size was right so I wore them to work. Big mistake. My ankles were so red and irritate”

Great riding shoes

“Great riding shoes, vents work great, comfortable and good protection. Only wish they came in lighter colors to help my feet not get hot baking in the sun. Love the shoes though.”
