Saved my hip

Thank you Leatte!! This just saved my hip. Did not even feel the impact. Totally trashed my knee though. Will be ordering C frame knee brace. (6' 135 lb : mens medium fits perfect).

Lightweight & Low profile

These pants are very light weight and and low profile, making them ideal for wearing under any pants. Overall, I'm happy that the hip armor and other miscellaneous padding all seem to be placed well on the body. While the main hip armor is rated CE1, the tailbone, upper hip and thigh padding are just dense foam about 0.5" thick. I doubt that they offer any real protection. Despite the questionable protective-ness on some of the padding, these are my favorite armored shorts to wear because the main hip armor is perfect, and it's very comfortable to wear.

Amazed!

My mind is blown! Buy all you can of this 3DF crazy armor. It is soft and pliable when you press slow against it. Hit it hard and it is hard plastic. Once you feel it work on your hip it will blow your mind. I used my knuckles to hit my hip HARD many times and it is CRAZY how it works and feels. Feels very thin and comfortable on so great you can't tell it's there. You do not need to size up pants either. These are amazing.

Great for electric skateboard riding

I purchased these to wear under my jeans while riding my eboard. They are unnoticeable, and comfortable to relax in after a ride. I've worn them for four hours straight and didn't experience any discomfort. The sizing chart recommended a size medium, but I got a large since some reviewers stated they are pretty tight. I'm 6' tall, have a 32" waist, and weigh 176 lbs., and the large is perfect. They stay in place but aren't overly tight. These are expensive compared to the other padded shorts I was researching, but given the comfort, level of protection, and discreetness of these, I think the

Work great. Haven?t tested in a crash but first impressions are good. I purchased 1 size smaller for a tight fit. If you plan on wearing underwear.. size up. I tried to wear boxers underneath the shorts and I knew rite away it wouldn?t be a comfortable ride. So I don?t wear underwear. Great decision though ther is great airflow to keep you cool

Like the hipbone extension.

I like the extended pad above waistband that many don't have. It has a stiff pad on the side and softer pad on the thigh. I wear 35w jeans and the large is a snug fit over my briefs. The tailbone pad is also a soft padding and does not interfere with sitting on a dual sport seat.

Good pad plaement EXCEPT for tail bone

This is my 3rd different pair of protection shorts. Every one has had at least one flaw... the Leatt shorts are no exception. The tail bone pad is way too high and doesn't cover the tail bone. Will try to get my tailor to to re-sew the pad on 3in lower. Don't wanna waste more time shopping instead of riding. Ugh.

Poor quality construction and too tight. I?m 6?1? and 250lbs and when I pull them up I can hear the seams tearing. The padding isn?t bad but the materials are so flimsy. For $100 I expect a lot more. I have padded bicycle shorts for $20-$30 that are constructed orders of magnitude more durable.

I slip, U dip, and bang a tree with my hip.

This fit fine. I wear a 33-34 waist in most pants depending on season and type of beer. If you are bigger than me and don?t want them really tight?size up to XL.

Very protective

These have protected me many times! I had a bruise with the triangular patter on my thigh that likely would have been much worse without. The iliac protection can make the waist area tough to fit depending on other layers, belts, etc.

Comfortable!

36" waist 29ish inseam the XL fit for the most part the front pads run a bit lower than I would like as it can make wearing knee pads a bit akward but not the end of the world, all a part of being a short guy. Very comfortable with very good airflow.

Good undershorts

Bought these to add some extra padding to motorcycle jeans I got from another dealer(didn't know revzilla at the time). The shorts stay where they are supposed to, feel good wearing, and definitely have decent padding to them. Was disappointed the butt bone padding wasn't bigger, it's nice to have (haven't seen on any jeans) but it's kinda small. Would recommend. You will need a top layer though, these aren't for wearing without.
