Brand Fit Guide
Street & Steel for women riders.
Built from 200+ rider reviews across 10+ Street & Steel products.
Brand sizing
Street & Steel runs slightly small
Street & Steel is made for curves: every style here is curve-friendly, jackets included. It runs a touch small, so size up. On the pants, short and tall inseams cover shorter and taller riders, the waistbands have little stretch so size to your waist, and the jeans sit low enough to gap at the back when seated unless a longer jacket covers it.
What riders praise
- ✓Roomier chest and slightly longer sleeves than most women's leather jackets
- ✓Works well for curvy figures with the side zippers adding hip room
- ✓Relaxed fit accommodates curvy builds without sizing up dramatically
- ✓Sleeves proportioned well for shorter riders
- ✓Adjustable knee pocket works well for shorter riders
- ✓Fits well for 5'2" without requiring extra length
Watch-outs
- !Shorter cut suits riders under 5'7" — taller riders find the proportions off
- !Busty riders in 2XL may find shoulders oversized even when chest fits
- !Very little stretch — curvy builds with no wiggle room may find it restrictive in the riding position
- !Runs large compared to traditional leathers — measure chest, not label size
- !Size for the waist — waistband has very limited stretch
- !Thighs need a full size up from your normal pant size
